I decided to try a change of pace and hit up L&L Gastonia one recent afternoon. The sign out front says "Under New Management" but I have no idea how long it has been there. Nothing is really different with the club itself. Free admission with MAL membership card, daily drink specials, fairly decent food believe it or not.

The day of my visit, there were 4 dancers working. One was super skinny, while the other three definitely weren't. Lots of junk in the trunk as one dancer said. Table side dances are still $5 and provided a little bit of contact on this visit, unlike some in the past. I also got a $20 VIP which is performed behind a half wall directly behind the DJ. There was a little more contact there, but the dancer kept looking at the DJ to make sure he wasn't looking. Still not a bad experience.

This is a very laid back, neighborhood type bar with average looking women for the most part. They do seem to be nice and will take time to chat before hitting you up for dances. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon without breaking the bank.
