Was in Vegas for a convention...

Was in Vegas for a convention and finally got free of my fuddy duddy co-workers my last evening. It was a Thursday night, and thanks to TUSCL, I knew to call for a free limo ride. The taxis get paid a bounty by the clubs. And the bounties have gotten too high. So most of the clubs would prefer to send a limo to you and give you free admission than pay the taxi driver.

I called for the limo and it arrived within 30 minutes and we were off. The driver dropped me off at the back entrance where I didn’t have to pay to get in. The first thing I did was walk over to the cashier and purchase dance chips. They used to have paper “dollars” that were easier to carry in you pocket. The chips are pretty bulky. You can get $100 chips, but I didn’t want to have difficulty getting change for it, so I took my money in $20’s. Now that I look back at it, it was pretty stupid. All I probably had to do was walk back to the cashier and exchange a $100 for $20’s whenever I needed.

Then I walked over to the main bar, got a drink, and I was ready to go. The great thing about opening a tab at the rhino is that you can order from any of the bars, bartenders, or waitresses and you can keep it all on the same tab.
