As many strip clubs as I have been too, I had never been to the famous Clermont in Atlanta until Saturday. First of all, as others have mentioned, this is not your typical strip club. This place is famous due to the age of the ladies and some of their antics.

It is located in the lower level and back side of an old motel on Ponce de Leon. The parking and entrance are on the back side of the building and away from the road, so don't be fooled when trying to find it. There was no admission at the time I entered, unless someone was simply letting it slide. The beers are cheap: $5 included the tip.

On this Saturday afternoon, there were only 4 ladies working: median age - 43, and no, I am not joking. This is the place all the celebrities have to check out when in ATL just to see it first hand, but none were checking it out at this time of day on a Saturday. It is a very old place with old ladies taking their clothes off. Unfortunately for me, Blondie the one who crushed beer cans with her boobs, was not working and I would expect such "talent" to be on display in the evening when the place is more crowded and hopping than on a Saturday afternoon.

Anyway, it was a pleasant experience to say the least for about an hour. Once I had cycled through the four ladies dancing on the stage in the center of the room, it was time to go. The ladies, though older, still have some looks about them and are fun to cut up with. They love trading barbs with the customers and are still pretty witty. I did not sample any dances, as I can get rubbed on by a "mature" woman at home...lol.

This is a great place to go with a group while out on the town on a Friday or Saturday night. Not a final destination mind you, but a good place to stop over for an hour or so.
