Like I said in a previous review my wife recently decided she wanted us to start going to SC’s. We’ve always heard of the Pony advertised on the radio so this was the first club we went too. We went on a Saturday night around 8:30pm right after they opened. This was our virgin SC experience together so we had absolutely no clue what to expect. The outside looked pretty good and the parking lot was well lit. There is a security guy outside the front door who checked our ID’s and gave me a pat down. He was very nice and has been very nice and friendly every time we’ve been. Upon entering a very small little entrance area we paid the $5 per cover and bought a drink as we paid our cover.

The main room isn’t huge like Wild Cherry or the Furnace but it’s a decent size. 1 main stage in the middle with another stage up top in the VIP area. The VIP area isn’t actually a 2nd floor it’s just a raised area with 6 or 7 steps to get up to it. There is a medium size bar downstairs and a small bar upstairs. After a certain time of night (around 10pm I think) it costs $5 to sit up in the VIP area. The place had a few dancers working and a handful of customers. We made a lap around the main floor and headed up to the VIP area to have a seat at the railing and just watch for a bit to figure out what we should do and how things worked. The bar girls walk around and keep checking that you’re ok and see if you need another drink. It was pretty slow and surprisingly the DJ came over and started talking to us. When he found out this was our first time he started giving us all sorts of tips and information about what to do and how everything works. He also gave us several free passes to use if we decided we had fun and wanted to come back. We were very impressed with the attention and friendliness of the staff right off the bat. They made us feel very welcome and at ease.

The place stayed fairly dead though for a couple of hours. There were a few dancers doing their rotations on the main stage but nothing that really excited us. Pretty much skinny little waifs. One had to have just started working there because she didn’t look comfortable and we noticed she never took her top off the entire night. Around 10pm we noticed more dancers filing in and things started to pick up a bit. The dance rotation started including the small stage up in the VIP area after a while. There is a decent selection of dancers here. Like every other place a good bit of the dancers are skinny with small tits but there are plenty of dancers here with nice curves who look like actual women. Drinks here consist of beer for $4 and bottled mixed drinks like bootleggers and jack daniels stuff for $6-8. They also have prepackaged frozen drinks though for $5. You can smoke here so that made my wife happy.
