I went in on a Thursday...

I went in on a Thursday night around 10pm. I no longer live in the metro Detroit area but, try to pop in a few times per year for a visit. There was not too much of a crowd but, busy enough that the dancers and wait staff do not hound you. I picked a seat at the bar and tried to position myself where I could see the stage as well as the audience. It was slim pickings compared to when I used to live in the area (around 10 years ago). A lot of the dancers are past their prime. There were a few black, a few white, etc.. There were not really any that I thought were that attractive. They still come up and say "Sweetie, we should go upstairs, etc" Well, what they lack in looks, they still have in confidence. Forty somethings I can get on my own. No need to shell out money at a bar. There was one girl that was in her mid 20's, lived in Ohio, brunette, thick, curvy and was working this as her 2nd job. I briefly considered getting a dance from her. She was a bit overweight even for my standards. I tend to like thicker women but, she was just hefty. Her hair was also looking mangy. I guess, if you are stripping and trying to make money at it, you should be in shape, under 35, and do your make up and hair... I left after an hour or so. I only paid the admission, a beer, and a coke- Maybe $25 all together. I left with $$$ in my pocket which is not always easy to do in a strip club. I'll try again in a few months...
