Palazio is definitely more on the upscale side — the decor is fairly posh all around, with three separate stages that the dancers go through, a main bar that faces the stages, and then a smaller bar to the side with 'private' tables (which are just separated by a divider from the main room) and cabana booths (their version of VIP rooms). Lap dances generally take place on a long bench-style seat next to the stage, or, because there's only room for about five or six people to have a dances at a time, at your table, and they're usually between $20 and $40 a dance. Of course, the dancers will try and sell you on either a more private table near the secondary bar (which is generally $100, but can be had for cheaper if you ask the manager politely), or a private booth, which is generally big enough for about four or five people (and starts at $350, but also can be cheaper later in the night if it's not super busy). Oh — if you get the cabana, of course you still have to pay the girl for her time, which is generally going to be a few hundred, up to five hundred. Keep that in mind.
The DJ apparently doesn't play hip hop due to club rules, which leads to a lot of EDM — if that's your scene, you'll enjoy it, if not, you might be able to ask the DJ nicely, but as I understand it, there's a general inclination against that style of music at Palazio (from what I understand, the same owner of Palazio also owns Expose, which is more hiphop/casual/lowbrow, depending on how you want to look at it). So, overall, fairly classy — also, I came in dressed differently, and they pay a touch more attention to you if you're dressed sharply — granted, this may be true everywhere, but at Palazio there's generally enough of an audience that if you prefer dancers to come to you instead of the other way around, you'll have to dress the part.
The girls: I go for lap dances instead of spending my money on whoever's on stage, but I want to first start out by saying that there are a couple of phenomenal pole dancers here. Truly extraordinary talent, not just looks, and they're both graceful and alluring — you'll know them when they get up there because you honestly can't keep your eyes off of them. I had lap dances from about eight or nine girls, and they were all excellent conversationalists, good dancers, and honestly just pleasant people — no hard hustling from any of them, just a polite 'would you be interested in a dance?' after a bit. I will say that there were a couple of girls that really caught my attention, enough that I eventually did spring for a cabana and spent some more time with them. Unfortunately, names are not my strong suit — I will simply say that one of them wears glasses, one is generally in a turquoise bikini, and the last: the twins. There are, in fact, a set of twins that dance at the club, both extremely tall, with long, dark hair, and it is well worth your time and money if they're free. They'll even dance together, which is an interesting experience. But really, there are enough girls in any given night that you'll be able to find someone that is your type. Perhaps more importantly, you'll almost certainly be able to find someone that you're genuinely interested in as a person, which makes the experience a bit better.
