More changes in store at "the Bird" these days. They are building a second stage right in the middle of the club. Looks close to completion and I would imagine they are going to try to have it up and running by January 24th, when they are having a "Grand Reopening" party. Probably would have checked it out if I wasn't going to be out of town. Definitely a few pretty hot girls working here now though I still think they need to raise the quality and quantity a little bit more if they are going to compete with the other clubs in Lawrence. A few customers on my most recent visit but most seemed more interested in drinking and hanging out than getting dances. Of course, that might be expected on a weekday night and I haven't checked it out on the weekend in several months. Staff is pleasant and friendly. Of course, the sexiest waitress in Lawrence, Ms. Rachel is still slinging drinks and is always nice. If you offer her a drink, she'll take it and hang out with you for a bit. Overall, I'm hopeful about the future of this club and will continue to visit to see if things continue to improve.
