I was going through the Akron Clubs List on TUSCL and took note that I have been to almost every club in the Akron area. I had never been to a club in the Falls so I decided to visit the Happening. This club was last reviewed by Dalex almost 2 years ago so I thought it could use an update.

I arrived around six pm and it was empty. The owner Tom and the bartender Char were the only ones there. It seems that the regular bartender had called off and Char had to cover for her. I was treated very cordially. I ordered my beer $3 and tipped a single. As you enter there is a small stage to your right and the bar to the left. There is a large area in the back with pool tables. All dances are done on the barstools at $5 each. There are no private or semi-private dance areas. We were not sure but it seems that each bartender has her own crew of dancers. We suspect that no dancers came in tonight because the regular bartender had called off. I listed the dancer number as unknown because we waited till 7 pm and no dancers showed up and there was only one other customer so the bartender decided to close. For my first time in to the Happening I was quite disappointed. Char invited me to come back Tuesday night and she guaranteed me girls would be there by 4pm and I would leave happy. I will try to stop back.
