Been on LI on business and...

Been on LI on business and decided to try a few clubs to see what the landscape is like.. Stopped last Mon at 9 and this place was absolutely dead. No cover (one of the pleasant surprises). Layout is a central wrap around bar with a stage within the bar for the single dancer. She does a song with and a song topless. After or during each song she'll visit each person at the bar for a buck. So, grabbed a seat - there were plenty - only 3 guys, a dj, a bouncer and 3-4 girls plus two female bartenders. Nice friendly bartender stepped over and I ordered a beer. I get 10 ones and 50c back, so the ones go on the bar to feed the dancers. Not much enthusiasm and not much of a dance. They'll touch the pole but nothing acrobatic - very detached.

Dancers were 4-6, white, some with bolt ons, some with nothing. I waited them out and used the buck to talk to each gal hoping for a connection. Not this night. None came by after getting off stage. They all clustered on the other side of the bar and were content to check their phones. Once the rotation started to repeat, I figured it might be too early on an off night, so finished my beer and left.
