My friend in town convinced me to check out Gold Club. Been a while since I've been to a strip club having been thoroughly spoiled by Texas clubs over the years. So keep that in mind as you read on...

Gold Club is allegedly the nicest in San Francisco and one of the few true "strip clubs" in town where you can expect a nice atmosphere, good looking dancers, full bar, etc. Cover was $20 (pretty standard nowadays). The club layout is very nice having recently been remodeled. One main stage up front, several side stages around the bar and an upstairs VIP section which cost an extra $10 to get into. First bit of advice, pay the $10 as the best looking dancers tend to hang out up here most of the evening.

The dancers were pretty solid. There were a couple very attractive dark asian girls I got dances from (one Thai, the other Filipina mix). The former gave a pretty good lap dance all told, the latter wasn't quite as "grinding" and playful. The dances were 2 for $60 in a side room. I understand you can get regular $20 lap dances out in the open area but they aren't "as fun". Didn't try these out.
