It has been a long while...

It has been a long while since I was last at Blaze. Back then it was a mixed club of dancers mostly black, but a few white dancers as well. Now it is all black. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but worth mentioning if that is or isn't your thing. I arrived about 8:30 cover was $10 and the crowd was just starting to gather. The dancers were mostly thick with a few skinny ones thrown in most were attractive, but unfortunately for me most were too thick for my liking. Dances were $5 song and had minimal contact. I am a Follies supporter so I am super spoiled on this but it was not too bad. Remember it was only $5/dance. As far as I witnessed dancers on stage get ignored unless someone is "making it rain" as in any rap video you may have seen. It was very stereotypical, but hilarious as well. Folks tipping a dollar feel a little inadequate going to the stage when the last guy just tossed 20-50 one dollar bills in the air.

I focused on the $5 dances and had my own fun. I may return, but it was not the best or worst of times. Maybe VIP should be explored for research purposes. Maybe next visit.
