While in Tampa for an annual golf trip I visited Mons on several occasions in the afternoon and evening ending on 1/17. Mons continues to satisfy with top quality dancers and high mileage lap dances. $20 cover charge. Lap dances are competitively priced ($20 to $30 - you negotiate.) Stage shows are good with a lot of interaction between the girls on stage and the guys at ringside. Some girls are lazy and just 'strut their stuff' on stage but with the right 'stuff,' that's okay with me. Lap dances are in open areas, so there is zero privacy. You sit on an banquette shoulder to shoulder with other guys getting high mileage dances. If that bothers you (it doesn't bother me) stay away from Mons. There are no VIP rooms. If you like a VIP experience, go elsewhere, like 2001 across the street. Joe (the owner of Mons) continues to select some of the best dancers to be seen in the States. His taste is impeccable. I don't know whether it's changing styles or the latest selection process, but most of the girls have natural tits - I like that... a lot. With that said, the number of dancers (except maybe at peak weekend hours) is much smaller than it once was and customers are often sparse. I think the lack of privacy for the lap dances and, particularly, the lack of a VIP room for the more serious customer is reducing attendance. Dancers I recommend: Sephora, Nyla (or Nila), Brittany, and Naomi. Don't miss Mons when you are in Tampa!
