While on a golf trip to Tampa I revisited 2001 for the first time in several years. I stopped by on a couple of afternoons and evenings ending on Saturday 1/17. They have redecorated and upgraded the club since I was last there. The dancer quality is very high and, given that 2001 is across the street from Mons, that says a lot (see my review of Mons). The owner seems to have a penchant for tall girls, so, if that's your thing, you should certainly check it out. The staff is friendly, although I found the door girl to be pushy. Cover is $10 in the afternoon and $20 in the evening. Stage shows are typically excellent and, at least in the afternoon, the girls on stage allow a lot of interaction with the guys at ringside. The standard lap dance room cubicles are comfortable and provide some privacy. Lap dances were competitively priced and high mileage. The VIP rooms are $400 for a half an hour. The rooms are comfortable with a heavy curtain to provide privacy. $400 is overpriced for what's available but, with the right dancer, you will likely come away happy. Individual dancers I recommend: Helen, Jordan, Diamond and Shannon.
