Follies is perhaps the best overall...

Follies is perhaps the best overall club in the Atlanta area. What originally was supposed to be a short visit, ended up being a seven hour stay. I arrived here just before 2:00 Saturday afternoon and stayed all the way until 9:00. It is very rare for me to stay in a club longer than four hours, but since this was my first time here during the daytime (I've been here twice before years ago, both late at night) I was having so much fun getting these high mileage dances from so many different women that I just said to myself "fuck it, let the good times roll".

Upon arrival, I was greeted upon a white man with dreads in the parking lot that turned out to be the valet attendant. He didn't seem to be very friendly when I gave him my keys and a $5. Went inside and paid another $5 for cover. Got frisked fairly well by the lady at the door including my black sausage. I tipped her three bucks for that. Entered and immediately sat at the bar like I always do. Mostly drunk Corona throughout my time here for $5.50. They also have a buffet which I didn't eat because I thought I had to pay (turns out the food is free). I might sample the food next time.

The layout upon entry consists of a large bar at the center, couches on the left and the far right of the club, plenty of tables and chairs all throughout, and a few high-top tables lined up against the left wall toward the DJ booth. The restrooms are located to the right of the entrance as one is facing the bar with an attendant. Apparently the dancers will sometimes hang out in the men's room and chat with the attendant even while the men are in the process of taking a piss. I'm not offended :) The VIP rooms are located in the corner near the couches and on the opposite end of the club. The VIP is somewhat obscured by neon-green beaded curtains. The VIP is $52 to the house and a minimum of $100 to the dancer for 30 minutes. I did not do a VIP session this trip. In my opinion, the best areas to get dances on the floor are on the back couches near the VIP that are facing the wall, and the high top chairs on the wall near the DJ booth since they are both sort of out of the way.
