I was down in Los Angeles...

I was down in Los Angeles for business and had to stay the weekend, so I decided to seek an adventure on Saturday evening. It was about 8:30 p.m. when I headed out. It was a bit early but I figured either stay at the hotel or go out to the club, so the choice was easy.

It had been literally about a decade or more since I last went to 4Play, but I decided to give it a go. First off the parking is virtually non-existent around the club and since I did not know the area I valeted it. Good thing it was a rental car given the "care" with which the vehicle was handled. I paid the cover which IMHO was a bit much for not being in Vegas, but I was already committed. As unbelievable as it sounds, it was almost like a flashback when I entered the main room. From the location of the stage, the incredible pole that stretches endlessly to the ceiling, to the bar area, the place seemed almost like I remembered it. I walked around a bit to check out the layout and found a spot with a decent vantage point. The dancers all seemed to be very hot and at least a couple did a pretty good job on the s I tage with the pole work. I spied one who was particularly attractive and I guess she noticed my stare. She came over and introduced herself and I think her name was Kaylee or something similar (really was hard to discern given the volume of the music). I opted not to get any dances immediately as I wanted to see who else might be at the club that evening. The hustle factor was in full effect, as several other dancers approached me following the first dancer's departure. As it is in most clubs, the main goal is/was to empty your wallet and I maintained a discipline about my club spending that saved me that night. I overheard customers who got LDs from a couple of the dancers that had come by telling their buddies that their experiences were lame.

Again this was my first time out to the clubs in LA in a while, so it ended up just being an exploratory outing this time. Club seems to have potential with the talent on board, so I'll have to assess this personally on my next trip.
