I had read some horror stories...

I had read some horror stories online about Suger's in the past. My curiosity got the better of me one evening while in Norman on business and I ventured in. The club access is from an alley off of Asp Ave - nothing shady as other posts have suggested. I was greeted by a doorman of sorts who accepted my $5 cover. He was nice enough and in I went. Immediately inside to the left are a pool table or two and beyond those the bathroom (more on this in a bit). There is a small raised platform by the bar with 3 or 4 tables with a good view of the stage. Around the stage are several other tables and booths. On the Wednesday night I went there were roughly 10-15 patrons, and a couple of their girlfriends playing pool. The music is loud - way too loud for me. There appeared to be a small lap dance area just past the bar, but in plain view. I didn't see anyone partake so I cannot comment on mileage. I ordered a beer and watched the show progress...

There were only 3 dancers on shift and they did the standard clothed first dance, topless second. The girls certainly were not knockouts, but one wasn't bad. A but plump but sexy in her own way. 5 or 6's top, but boobs are boobs. $1 tip on stage got a face full of tits for a few moments, but the dancing was mostly uninspired. I couldn't get over the noise and that there were only three dancers on shift.

The bathroom was rough...a big metal water trough filled with ice to piss in. Pretty horrid.
