The playhouse is a bit like...
The playhouse is a bit like fast food or a chain restaurant. It is predictable and reliable which is both good and bad. Dancers remain hit or miss. For some in their late 40s or early 50s and/or overweight it is hard to imagine they make any $$ other than the constant dollar parade which is annoying and can't be escaped bc of the layout of circular bar with no other seating. But there are usually a few attractive ones per shift and the occasional diamond. But mostly are older in 30s to 40s with surprisingly little change from year to year.
Most recent visit, same cast of characters present including a couple of 7s. Nice dances with good mileage but YMMV from dancer to dancer.
Parking is safe. Facilities reasonable but not noteworthy. Definitely a neighborhood bar feel to it with relaxed vibe. One thing that is nice is that unlike many neighborhood bar type places, the dancers circulate for the most part rather than hanging out all night with regulars. So if you see someone you like, chances are she will stop by since it is in a circular layout and dancers do the circuit throughout the night.
