Tried NY Dolls on a Friday...

Tried NY Dolls on a Friday night in December. It was 11PM but not crowded at all, although more people showed up by the time I left. The dancers were all nice, nobody pushy at all. Dancers were mostly Russians, one or two of them plain stunning. Cover I thought was more than $20 but can't remember at this point. Drinks and dance prices standard for Manhattan.

It's a nice club but I found it a little odd. The main stage area in the back is basically a square room with a stage on one side, benches on the walls, and very small tables in the middle. For me, it was a bit too small to have fun, but I guess its a decent layout for the space they have. The bar in the front was more interesting, has a few poles on one side. I think it would probably have been a better place to hang out, but will have to try that next time.

My advice is wait until later in the night and give it a try. Probably this club is a nice place to chill, but it seemed slower than I was expecting.
