I went to the IS with...

I went to the IS with a group of friends. They had raved about it in the past, but had concerns over a change in the layout, format, etc. I never saw the club before the remodeling, so everything here is based on what I saw in July of 2005.

We arrived at the club fairly late - around 1am. The inside was definately upscale looking. Its similar to higher end places I've been to in Vegas. There's a small stage up front with a small seating area.

The girls were high quality - definately some 8's and 9's. They came over to us one by one asking about laps. I would say the pitch was a pleasant one - not overly aggressive, nor were they in any way bitchy. I wanted to wait and see the lay of the land, so I held off.

After a few songs, a girl came over that I thought was perfect - for me. I like a more curvy, voluptuous woman, and this girl had it all. Unfortunately, I stayed with my "wait and see" attitude. There was literally nothing to see after that. Around 2am the number of girls in the club dwindled until finally there were none. There was nobody on the main stage, nobody serving drinks, nobody asking about lap dances. We joked that if our significant others saw us there they could hardly bust us for being in a strip club since there was no one stripping! It was more like a library.

I think our mistake was getting there so late. I would be curious to try again earlier. There were some high-roller types that got the bulk of the attention. The bottom line for me is that I was intrigued enough to go back in the future.
