I was in town working Essence...

I was in town working Essence festival this past summer. It was a weekend night, but I guess the club traffic is notoriously low during that festival. After my work was done, I wandered Bourbon on my own popping in and out of clubs.

I tried Larry's first just due to the name. I immediately had the option of paying $20 for VIP upstairs, or going in downstairs for free. I chose VIP as it came with 2 beers and they said cheaper dances or something.

I'm glad I did VIP - not because it was that awesome, but because there was freaking no one downstairs. You have to start down there and take an elevator up, and I noticed only one girl hanging out downstairs. It would have been boring with nothing to see.
