I made a repeat visit to...

I made a repeat visit to Shooter's, and it ended up being just about the same as my first one, so it seems like things are pretty consistent. As in my prior review of the place, not the most awesome club ever, but a totally decent experience, especially considering the location and other things.

Nothing different about the club layout this time, although I did note that the back game room actually does have some "smokescrubber" exhaust fans, so if you're a smoker this is a totally legal and accepted place to smoke indoors, and not just something they let customers do on the sly. The bar is the first thing you see when you get in; I've only been on weekdays so I haven't seen a full house, but most people hang out at the bar or the tip rail. Cover is $10, which also gets you a rail drink or domestic beer. Like a lot of Wisconsin bars, you can play shake-a-date for drink discounts or money. I wasn't getting anything fancy for drinks, but the prices weren't bad.

Girls working this night were mostly pretty attractive, probably around the 7 range with one girl in the 8 territory. Some girls have tattoos, but nothing extreme; none of the dancers have implants from what I can tell. Dances are $15 a song and take place out in the open in the main room, either in a darkened corner in back or near one side of the stage. I haven't seen it busy enough for the stage side dance chairs to ever get used. The girls are generally pretty friendly and give good action at the tip rail, but like last time, I was sitting around for quite a while before any dancer approached me for a lap dance. Songs might not be full length, but they generally run pretty long (a lot longer than what I'm used to in SoCal), and a girl will be on stage for about 3 songs; they get topless pretty quick but that's as far as it goes.
