I went to The Lodge on...

I went to The Lodge on a Monday afternoon for an hour or so while waiting for my flight home. I had been to Baby Dolls the day before, which set the bar pretty high.

The club layout is interesting, with the look of a hunting lodge. The area is partitioned into various themed rooms. It was pretty quiet when I was there (mid-afternoon). Sat down for a beer, and was soon joined by a somewhat sexy and very thirsty dancer who was a veritable "Chatty Cathy" doll. I was tempted to have a dance with her, but when she asked for a third vodka something or other after two previous ones and a RedBull, I called a halt and headed for the airport.

It's perhaps unfair to generalize after a single experience with a single dancer, but the "hustle" vibe at the Lodge vs. the much more relaxed vibe at Baby Dolls means I'll likely never go back.
