This is only the second club...

This is only the second club in NY I have ever been too and the differences from DC/Maryland clubs is staggering. These value of clubs up here have no sense of value. For $5/song in a southern maryland club I can do some exciting things. $5 in any of these clubs won't even get you a second look from these dancers. But anyway review is a little bias cause im use to being able to do a lot more for a lot less.

Was in Brooklyn staying with a friend and decided to try out a few strip clubs up here while i was in the area. I first went to Peytons Gentlemans club in Brooklyn for happy hour (review to follow), but I was told for the best "black" dancer experience I should go to Starlets in Queens. With no car I was force to take a subway from brooklyn to 46st (R,M,E lines go there) in queens (took over 1 hr ride ). I then had to walk about 20 minutes up 49th street to get the club on 25th ave. The neighborhood is fine, i never felt threatened and white people were walking around well after midnight so seems safe to me. The club is easy to find on the corner and the display looks glamourous. It got me pumped to go inside. Looked big from the outside. I walk to the bouncer, get ID checked and frisked and then directed inside. Walk to the front desk and nobody is there. A female security guard walks up and tells me its $20 dollar admission. I tell her that I was told online that its $10 until 2AM. She insist $20 so I told her I wanted to talk to the desk receptionist (who had stepped out). She quickly came back and I asked what admission was as there were no signs. The security guard screams "Tell him its $20 right?" The front door girl replies "um yeah thats right". Seemed a little shady but didn't bother me cause I had a set amount I was gonna spend and the club is just robbing from the ladies. I proceeded through a plush nice area with no people, then the bathrooms which were ok and clean. Finally walked into the strip club area.

The area is a huge square with the stage in the middle which is surrounded on every side with a rectegular bar. The stage had 3 poles and the bar had 4 bartenders (who looked like dancers, they must shift around). Service from the bartenders was great, they were fun, fast and observant. My favorite girl there was one of the bartenders (a little hispanic girl with nice booty). Whenever she would take an order she would get on top of the bar (putting cleavage in customers face) and take order which was a nice touch. She even filled in on stage between sets to allow girls to get on stage. Anyway i walked around the bar and the place is not that big from inside. Not much space to walk around stage/bar. It looks bigger because of the mirrors on each wall but I wasn't fooled. I found a spot in back of club and laid my coat on a ledge next to security guard. Ordered a red bull ($8) and watched the stage show...
