Swung by this club the other...

Swung by this club the other day during the day- I've been to Mardi gras across the street a couple of times over the past few months and have wanted to try it. Good thing is free parking- they have a lot right next to the club and the side street looked like it has parking during the day too (Mardi gras parking across the street is 5 bucks) Anyway, they have a metal detector as you walk in , but there is no one there during the day and no cover at lunch. The decor is almost as nice as Mardi gras... Comfortable bar area where you can catch a game and also see who is coming in next. The stage has bar stools and the girls are at chest level as you sit there. One girl (crystal) was working the pole pretty well (there are 3), but most of the others just sit in front of a good tipper and try to talk you into a dance. "Crystal" was pretty energetic and attractive, so I tried a couple of ld's. The dance area is fairily private and has deep chairs which are comfortable. The dance was $25, and was decent. The dancer didnt start until the song that was playing when we went back there finished, which is always nice. There weren't any bouncers leering over your shoulder when I was there, but that may change at night. After that, I made my way to the bathroom (decent), then moved on. All in all, a good club... Probably a little more laid back and a better value than Mardi gras, if not as flashy and well known.
