After reading the article in the NY Post "Celebrities flocking to NYC’s classiest strip-club party", I decided to check out the Sunday night party at Sapphires. I arrived Sunday night at about 10:30 pm and business was slow; but by Midnight it started to pick up. All of a sudden, at 12:30 AM, the place got packed with an eclectic assortment of customers, ranging from urban to yuppies. The dancers were primo quality. The DJ was nightclub quality. While it did not live up to the hype of the NY Post as a celebrity hot spot, it was not your typical strip club scene, and for the most part was pretty hot all around. Definitely worth checking out for a different type of gentlemen's club experience.
