I'm trying to get more discriminating...

I'm trying to get more discriminating with my reviews. In the past this might have gotten a "9" and is better than many other clubs I've given "8" ratings to in the recent past.

I visited on a Friday night, and first off want to complain about a police checkpoint on the way in from the highway. What a pain in the ass. Maybe it did make things safer, but it also definitely made things a pain in the ass. I find it hard to believe this is legal, but apparently if they advertise it somewhere it is.

Roxy's itself I liked a lot better. For the area, it beats other standards like "Miss Kitty's" although extras do not appear to be the norm here like they can be there. Girls were better looking and more fun on average. Stageside action was good, but not as good as Miss Kitty's ($2 seemed the norm for a stage tip). They had four stages in operation all night, and that was good. Beer was $5.25. Dancers drank soft drinks for free. Like other clubs on the eastside, things are nude and touching most places is okay and encouraged -- sometimes enthusiastically.
