I went to the Red Room around 12:45am on a Friday night. The club is in a basement of a building and has a red glow to it. There was no cover. A Budweiser set me back $7. I was expecting a bottle, but they gave me a can out of a 24-pack. The two bartenders looked like ghetto crack whores. It seems most of the space in the club is taken up by the bar. The narrow passageways on the outside were too narrow to have patrons sitting in chairs at the bar and people circulating at the same time. I kept getting bumped as people moved between the front and the back of the club. The stage is located behind the bar in the northeast corner of the Red Room. There is an area to get lap dances at the back of the club that was only semi-private from the rest of the club. There was a wall rising a couple feet, blocking the view partially, and beaded curtains covering the rest of the way up to the ceiling. I also heard there is a VIP room that is more private.

Dancers were rough like most clubs on the 400 Block of East Baltimore. What struck me was that all of the nine dancers that I counted seemed to be either mixed (part white/part black) or Puerto Rican. Dancers do a tip walk after they are done on stage. A single dollar was enough to get them to keep moving down the line. I got a hard sell from a couple of dancers that seemed to be on something, wanting me to buy them a drink. A drink to spend time with one of the dancers starts at $20. There was one Boricua that caught my attention, possibly a 9 on a 10-point scale, but I was on my way out at that point and my ears were killing me. Music in the club was extremely loud. It was hard to hear a dancer clearly when she approached you.
