Approaching the club is a little...

Approaching the club is a little like being transported into a remake of Porkys. A honky-tonk looking club down a gravel road on the outskirts of a small Indiana river town. The crowd is definitely made up of mostly local regulars.

I would have never known about this little joint except for a helpful dealer at the casino down the road who recommended it. He told me this was the only club around Louisville that was worth the time and money to visit. Apparently the clubs on the Kentucky side of the river are too heavily regulated to have any real fun.

There is certainly some fun to be had at the frog. The layout is unique but effective. There is a large main stage in the middle of the room with a dj booth at one end and a couch dancing area on the other end. There is plenty of seating right up against the stage as well as additional seating along the wall. There is a small bar area just off the main room as well as a vip dance area walled off behind the couch dance area.

I heard there is also a champagne room off the bar as well as an additional VIP area upstairs but i didn't have a chance to checkout either of these for myself.

The dancers on the main stage give a fairly good show with a little bit of contact thrown in with even minimal tips. The $25 couch dances are fairly routine bump and grind style, but lack any real privacy as they are clearly visible to the main room. The $150 vip area offers more privacy and more two way contact but nothing too extreme. A couple of the dancers i went to the vip room with hinted at a much more intense experience in the champagne room but that wasn't what i was looking for.
