Since my July review the club has gone downhill. Most of the talents introduced new as well as several of the other good looking dancers are gone. During a recent visit club had only 3 dancers working. The dancers uniformly complain about their disrespectful treatment by General Manager Cherry. Furthermore Cherry and other female managers compete with dancers for private dances. This is an unusual arrangement for a club where managers are allowed to give private dances. The club needs major physical and talent upgrade and addition of younger blood. They have decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. I visit the club when traveling along I75. Cafe Risqué is just adjacent to I75. This review is a summary of multiple visits. There is an entrance fee of $5 (locals) or $8 (visitors) and minimum 1 drink ($4, non alcoholic). Many Florida clubs do not charge entrance fees during day shift. It is recommended that Cafe Risqué follow them to boost visitor count. Girls perform nude dancing on stage for 10-20 min (depending on the number dancers and customers in stage area). You can sit on stools near the stage and contribute to the dancer. During visits number of dancers varied from 3-6 and customer base varied from 2-12. The charges for private dances are $30 for 1st, $50 for 2, $80 for 3 and $100 for 4 dances. They could simplify rates at $25 or $20 a dance. For the type of topless bikini dances with no touching policy and constant presences of video camera everywhere including private dance booth a $20 dance or lower is reasonable. It is unclear if there are further discounts for multiple dances from individual dancers as can be had in many clubs. Alex, Star and Nina are my favorites. As before one of the negatives of Cafe is that the dancers when not working on stage or VIP tend to gather around other dancers and sometimes the waitress and manager over long periods. They are not circulating among customers and preventing waitress from serving. Overall, it is not a bad place to kill some time if you are in the area. But addition of beautiful younger talent is needed. What is the use of college town club, unless you get cute co-eds to work as dancers?
