I've been to Rick's in Round...

I've been to Rick's in Round Rock a number of times at different times of day. I found that the best bang for my buck if I am getting out of house and rolling solo is usually on Saturday afternoons; fewer girls but also fewer patrons and less attentive/intrusive management. On my last visit I was only approached once by the floor manager for either a VIP or bottle upsell and got plenty of attention for the girls.

There were about 5 or 8 ladies working with minimal attention being paid to them so a few dollars at the tip rail got a lot of attention. I got a few dances from different girls and though some were better than others they were all worth the $20. Good amount of contact, good song length, and since there wasn't much happening it was easy to extend the time with friendly conversation and the tried and true "let's wait until the next song starts for another one." Quality of the girls was average to slightly above average, about what you'd expect at an Austin club in the afternoon.

I wouldn't recommend going in the afternoon if you have a crew, the girl volume isn't there. Go in the evening. If you're looking to get away from the wife for a bit, though its worth the trip.
