Foxy Lady was the first of...
Foxy Lady was the first of three stops I made on Tuesday. Haven't been in a few months. A couple of changes immediately caught my attention. Upon entering, they now have a metal detector you have to go through before passing through the turnstile to enter the club. How has the turnstile survived all these years? The second change I noticed was the Foxy Lady logo projected on the background curtains on the main stage. It's a bit distracting.
I was pleasantly surprised by the number of dancers on for a Tuesday afternoon-- I'd say close to 20. All were very attractive, maybe one dud. Another difference I noticed was a lack of waitstaff. Usually I see too many waitresses milling around, but today I only saw one who was struggling to keep up. But I don't care too much about that.
If you've never been to the club, I'll warn you the music can be a bit too loud for some (although I like the volume and the selection-- more alternative/hard rock). The strobe lights are also not found at any other local club. They like glitz here.
