Went to check out VC since...

Went to check out VC since I heard a radio ad about how admission and dances are $5 on Tuesdays. There was an ad online at the website too, so I figured everything was cool. Got there at about 11:30 (I usually label my reviews as 'after midnight' because the majority of the time I spend there is after 12, even if I arrive before then). Parking is easy and free, although I think valet is optional. Paid the $5 cover without getting frisked or asked for my ID - which is definitely a surprise in South Florida - and went into the club.

Papi's review below does a much better job of the layout, but if you want a Cliffs Notes version...there are a couple of satellite stages to your immediate left as you walk in, surrounded by VIP tables. There's a bar right in front of you to your left and a long skinny bar going up the right side. The main stage is in the middle of the club, directly across from the long skinny bar. There's also a bar in the front corner on the left. I think there's one in the back too. Lots of tables, although most of them were full. The LD area is in another part of the club, to the right of the main room.

To blow the top off the bait and switch: the $5 dances are not all night. The DJ announces times when dances are $5 and an accompanying LD special (2/30, 3/50) - he'll say "next 2 songs" or "next 3 songs". The girls will start talking to you during the second song of the set and try to manage it so you start your dances when the special ends. Speakign of, music is your basic current rap.
