Looks can definitely be deceiving at...

Looks can definitely be deceiving at the Bird. The place looks like a dive but is really pretty nice on the inside. And, at first glance, one might think the place would be crawling with barely legal coeds from the nearby university...but that isn't true either. While there are a few 19 year olds working here, they are more the exception than the rule. Most of these girls are in their mid 20's and up. And some of them are very good at their work. The place feels more like a neighborhood bar with lap dances and naked girls than a "gentleman's club" and, for my money, that is a good thing. Most everyone here is friendly and the place is welcoming to pretty much anyone who shows up and doesn't make trouble. Sometimes creates a strange mix of solo guys, college boys (and girls) and everything in between. Curious thing is that sometimes the busiest times are the easiest times to enjoy fun times with your favorite dancers. A slow weekend night may only boast of a dozen customers but half may be there to drop some serious cash on one of the half dozen dancers. The weekends may pack in a lot of people but a lot of them are just out drinking with friends. Recently visited and spent some time in VIP area with one of my favorites and so I thought I'd talk about that briefly. Unlike many places where you are pretty much expected to constantly buy dances in the VIP area, once you pay your $10 here, you can just hang out there if you want. I've never seen anyone go in without one of the dancers but I don't think there is a rule against it. I did see a couple of guys just sitting in there having a drink. Once inside, a great deal depends on the dancer but a friend and I spent the better part of an hour back there and got three dances each. During the interval, most of the girls seemed to just be hanging out, chatting, drinking or smoking. Anyway, it isn't a bad deal if you want to guarantee some private time with one of the dancers and engage in some fairly good mutual gropage.
