I used to visit Hustler a lot back in another city. This location irked me right off the bat by scanning my license without asking and trying to be slick about it. Not cool. I got down to the cashier and asked about going up to the VIP area. The club back in my hometown would often have a quieter, nicer VIP area that was significantly less rowdy and often had a separate stage. The staff here seemed confused, but eventually took me to what they described as "VIP" without making me pay a cover.
Well, VIP this isn't. The club is essentially built into a basement with one large floorspace. The bar and entrance are near the front, main seating crowds a center, *single* stage, and slightly elevated seating is "VIP." Curtained off booths are the VIP "rooms." The couch dance is just in one of these with the curtains wide open for all to see. The champagne room is less costly than VIP, but has visible glass that puts you and the girl on display like a zoo animal.
While I regretted asking for VIP seating, I was immediately hit up for bottle service. Now I like to drink in the clubs, but I'm not going to down a bottle and certainly not for 15x what the bottle typically costs. Yes, 10-20x. Why get any dances when you can have a ridiculously overpriced bottle of booze to keep you company? Single cocktails are $10+, so you're going to start burning coin pretty quick on drinks alone.
