I tried posting this once before so hopefully it does not pop up as two separate reviews. This review is from several weeks ago but just now finding some time to post. I've been to a number of clubs in the area but this was the first to the Criket. It was somewhat confusion finding the parking and entrance once I saw the club from Michigan Ave. You need to turn into a side street and find the parking lot in the back from there and even then you need to find the entrance into the fenced in lot. Good thing is that parking is free.

You enter the club from the back side of the building away from Michigan Ave and from the parking lot. Cover was $10 from best I can recall but its been a while. I quickly learned that the booths cost extra to sit at which I passed on. I just want to sit and chill for a while having a beer and did not want the immediate attention and pressure you can get sitting in a booth by yourself. The stage is in front of you when you enter with the bar to the left and VIP directly behind the stage area away from the entrance.

This place has a local neighborhood bar feel to some degree which is good and bad. Many of the dancers hang with or are waiting for regulars and don't seem that interested in someone just passing through for a night. After chilling for an hour or so watching the stage, it took me some time to track down anyone for a dance. I finally tracking down a tall brunette that I had been eying for a while. Dances were $20 per song. I was not looking for FS but her menu seemed fairly open. The VIP booths were closed with curtains and lots of activity going on in most of them if that gives some idea.
