Recently moved to Bakersfield. Bored on a Monday night I decide to head out. Read Tuscl reviews of local clubs. Doesn't look promising. Against my better judgment I still decide to go to Deja Vu. Big Mistake. On a monday night after midnight I paid a cover charge of $20, which was excessive. No alcohol served in Bakersfield strip clubs. That's strike one. I find out no smoking allowed indoors. That's strike two. There are only about 7 dancers and only 3 are good looking, and at that by good looking I mean only a 7 out of 10. Now, I'm thinking at least I'll get a few dances and head home. However, not a single dancer approached me for the 2 hours I was there! All of them wasted time sitting around and talking to their regulars or with each other. I hate it when a dancer is not there to earn my money. I want to fork over my money to them and they are too stupid to realize it. The regulars were just chatting the whole time with them and not even getting dances. That was strike three. If I can't drink and get my buzz on, can't smoke, and can't even get a lap dance, why the hell should I go to a strip club? I will never come back here and do not recommend it.
