Sunset Strip is one of those...

Sunset Strip is one of those clubs that has potential but never seems to achieve it. The location is relatively convenient if you're on the West side since it's right off the 26 & 217 freeways, parking is usually no problem, decor isn't bad (other than it's so dark you usually can't see when you're about to trip over a chair), drink selection & prices are decent, and they have 2 stages, several TVs playing various sports events, and video poker. The problems are the dancer quality, night time cover charge, lap dance area with no privacy & strict rules, overcrowding on weekend nights, and annoying DJ with theme night gimmicks. I like going to clubs where the dancers are consistently hot on both day and night shift, and being able to get a decent lap dance. Neither of those happen often the times I visit Sunset Strip, so I tend to only go there as a last resort. Too bad, it has a lot of potential.
