Headed back to Austin and after...

Headed back to Austin and after spending the day at our office there and decided to drop by Palazio. The club is south of town on the access road to a freeway. Easy to get there from my downtown hotel. This is one of the nicer clubs in Austin. And it's recently been remodeled to shake it up a bit. The parking lot is right by the club and even though it is on the highway, it has a safe feeling to it.

I got to the club around 8:30. From the moment I entered the club, everyone, from the hostess at the front door to the servers couldn't have been friendlier. I've been to clubs where they made you think they were doing you a favor by letting you come in. These girls really seems to appreciate my being there. The drinks are not any more expensive than other clubs I've been to in Austin. But the staff is more attentive here, and most of the servers could be dancers themselves.

I was surprised that the club wasn't more crowded than it was when I arrived. And, I guess I was just ahead of the crowd by a few minutes because I found a table on the far side of the club, not too far away from the blackjack dealer and a small stage. This club has three stages: the main stage and two smaller ones on either side of the main stage. All are equipped with poles, and it's a good think that they are, because the girls I saw can really work the poles. Like little gymnasts they were.
