Was driving by Fayettevile the week before Thanksgiving and decided to stop and collect my own impressions of Mickeys. The club gets pretty good reviews on tuscl so I figured it was worth a diversion from my travels on I-95. I liked the club. It has a neighborhood bar feel to it; no glitz - just a bar with a small stage and about 5 girls working at 2:30 in the afternoon. For the first 20 minutes I found myself wondering if I would be disappointed because I felt a bit like an intruder among a bunch of regulars. There were a few attractive dancers there, particularly Lilly and Katie. Lilly is a tall slender brunette and Katie is also a brunette, but petite in both height and figure. After nursing a beer or two for the first 20 minutes I decided to just approach Lilly for a dance. You never know how that will go in a regulars' bar, but she was bright and friendly, so I immediately shed my intruder feelings. The LD area is a small couple of partitioned rooms across from the right side of the bar. It seemed like there was a front room with minor traffic as people walked to the back room. I'd guess the back room is more private, but being new to the place both my dancers used the front room. Lilly does a good sensual dance. I asked her rules and she stated just about what I expected, but as the dances progressed she became more accommodating. At $10 per dance this was a great deal; I think we did 4 or 5. In retrospect I'm surprised these girls aren't in the LD room all day. Anyway after Lilly's dances I went back out to the bar and saw Katie sitting alone, so I went up and asked if she'd do some dances. Same story - friendly as could be and stated rules that didn't quite hold up after a couple of dances. Katie had a petite young body that looked like she spent most days in the gym - just gorgeous. She said that I should get a double dance from her with Lilly, but I didn't. Sounded interesting though, and at $10 x 2 it wouldn't be crazy money. Maybe another time.

So I give Mickey's a big thumbs up. Great value and friendly girls; you just have to step up and break through the initial regulars vibe.
