Portland has so many clubs, with such a variety it's hard to choose one that stands out, but Rose City sure did for me. Although it's a little hard to find with the entrance hidden around back behind a restaurant in a strip mall, once inside it's hard to find anything not to like. Drinks are reasonably priced, though it was a little difficult to get the barkeep's attention at times. There were three stages going with roughly ten girls dancing, all good looking. No problem getting a seat at the stage if your choice. While it's billed as a metal bar, it wasn't so much that way that it puts you off if metals not your thing. Music was loud and fun and the girls were a nice variety, some with ink, many not. Some Eastern European, some goths, but mostly just hot normal looking girls. Great dancers with good interaction at the stage for your hard earned dollar. Not an easy choice to narrow down who to approach for a dance - hard to go wrong. Settled on a blonde Eastern European girl with nipples you could hang a hat on. Great area for the lap dances in this club - many clubs have one big open bullpen style area, but Rose City had individual areas with curtains for privacy. No bouncers checking in and I enjoyed a little more interaction with my beauty than had been my experience in other Portland clubs. Definitely worth a return visit next time I'm in town.
