I stopped in at Clancy’s after...

I stopped in at Clancy’s after three attempts at previous clubs where I could not get comfortable. My first impression of Clancy’s is that of a neighborhood, blue collar bar – with scantily clad women dancing. The place is clean and comfortable. The cover (I think it was $5) was reasonable, as was the price of my drink(s). I liked the music – it was nice to hear some rock mixed in with the typical strip club numbers. The only slight negative is that they allow smoking at the place. I quit smoking a couple years ago, so the smoke bothered me a little - but, not enough to make me want to go away. So, I got my double scotch and sat next to the stage to watch the pretty girls dance.

It was a bit strange to be in a club where there was no possibility of touching. I have read enough reviews of clubs in the area and was prepared for the lack of nudity and no touching; I was content to sit down, place the 1 dollar bills on the stage, and kill the evening watching the pretty young girls dance in front of me. The dancers were all pretty – not 10s, but 7 or 8’s. And they were very chatty and pleasant. They made eye contact during the dance and came over to thank me for the cash after they had finished.

All in all, Clancy’s was a fine way to kill a lonely night while on business travel.
