This was my first visit to a strip club in Mexico. Happened to be in Monterrey for work so went out with a colleague who is from Mexico. That's important because if your are like me, and do not know a word of spanish, there is no way you can enjoy this experience. I would have probably ended up making a fool of myself just trying to enter.

This Club is on one of the main avenues and in a safer part of town. It is an walled compound with secure parking. The club has a 150 Peso (USD 10+) cover for which you get a shot of Tequila or a shot of licor 43. The hostess ( and a bouncer) greets you in the reception area and offers you a drink. The bouncer also pats you down for security ( I guess that is a done thing in Mexico). If a taxi driver takes you there, he gets a kick back but the club also charges a cover for him to you ( found out about this later when the bill came)

Then we entered the stage area of the club. It is nice and comfortable with a single stage in the middle and couches all along the walls in a square area. We arrived around 8 PM .. so there was no body on the stage. There were lots of girls ( around 15-20) but all of them seemed to be sitting on the couches in groups. There seemed to more servers and bouncers on the floor than girls ( at least thats what it felt like). Unlike in US clubs, all servers here were males.
