It is Black Friday and what...

It is Black Friday and what does a respectable TUSCLer buy for himself? Right, a trip to Adelita's. That was my first visit there but I should have done this a long time ago... I was plenty prepared with all the previous reviews of where to park, how to get across the border, what and what not to do in Tijuana, etc.

One thing I will do differently next time, I will not exit at the "Last USA Exit" (which leads you to a street called Camino de la Plaza), but rather one prior, the San Ysidro Blvd. That street will take you straight down to Jack in the Box and you'll actually have a CHANCE to make a left turn to get to the $7 parking lot. Not only was there a humongous line on the freeway leading to the Camino exit (talk about 45 minutes for less than a mile) but it's next to impossible moving across lanes to make a left into the Jack in the Box parking after coming over the bridge and turning right into Ysidro Blvd. Let's just say traffic was a nightmare on that day...

Anyway, will post how my new approach works after I tried it.
