Despite reading how low-rent this place...

Despite reading how low-rent this place is compared to various other GTA clubs and Sundowner in the Falls, I decided to stop in on my way back from a trip. The area in which the club sits isn't the best lit, so be careful.

I walked in and wasn't charged a cover, but I immediately got a sense of why Midway Invader has a seedy reputation. I sat down at a table and was approached by a cute Asian server. I asked for a cup of water, and she left to fill my order. I took a look around as I was waiting and saw one dancer on stage and maybe two others circulating, though there were probably more in the lap dance area.

The server came back with a bottle of water, which she opened as I protested that I ordered a cup, not a bottle. Granted, I shouldn't have expected to get anything for free there, but I was tired and hadn't really considered that. Instead of trying to schmooze me into paying the $6 or so for the bottle, the server's demeanor immediately changed from friendly to rude. I told her again that I didn't want it and that I was just going to leave, which I did. I don't see myself going back if that's the treatment that I'm going to get.
