I had to go to Harrisburg...

I had to go to Harrisburg for some other business, so I decided to check this place out at the noon hour. I had not been here for about two years, but nothing has really changed much. They do have a lunch special for $10 that includes your cover charge and a meal, but I did not partake, opting for the $5 cover instead. Bottled beer price was $4. Hot looking barmaid, but somewhat inattentive, disappearing regularly. At one point the cook delivered food for someone's order and it sat behind the bar for a full 5 minutes before the barmaid returned to serve it to the customer. So I am glad I chose not to eat! Dancers were good quality, and I believe there were 5 different ones while I was there, all friendly when tipped at the stage during their 2 song routine. Did not partake of any private dances since I was not asked, most dancers disappeared after their time on stage. I only saw 2 come and sit with a customer. The one thing that disturbed me somewhat was that the customers at the bar would crumble dollar bills and throw them on stage at the dancer. Personally I find this to be very rude, if you want to tip, get off your lazy ass and walk to the stage, but apparently this is the norm here. There is also a safety issue involved if a dancer were to step on one of these crumbled bills the wrong way, I am sure she could take a nasty tumble. OK, off my soapbox....overall an enjoyable afternoon visit, I'll stop again when in the area.
