I was in SD recently for business and finally got a chance to take the trip south of the border to TJ and checkout the infamous Hong Kong. Others have covered in detail how to get here (park behind Jack in the Box, take bridge, hop in taxi, mention "Hong Kong") so thanks to all the contributors. Some of my personal observations when I went on a Saturday night. I'll state the obvious, this is a Mexican strip club. I don't really compare it to any American strip club since the rules and my expectations are completely different. Even though it's right across the border, I can't help but compare it more to other Latin/South American strip clubs I've visited whether in DR, Panama, Costa Rica, or Brazil. In these clubs I expect either of two scenarios...either I'm just there to relax have drinks and see some beautiful women or I'm there to monger. I typically don't go for anything in between so no lap dances and entertaining women (sitting around buying drinks) unless it's part of the expected custom towards the end goal. If not I keep it cheap and to the point. The club is nice but I didn't find the women to be that stunning based on my Latin American standards and taste. A lot of silicone everywhere (breasts, butt, lips) which is not my thing. I did have a good time walking around surveying the scene and talking with and groping a couple women for the $1 tips, but nothing I saw really stood out to me. Maybe my expectations were too high or it could have been an off night. A good time and great value but nothing that blew me away. I decided to go next door and checkout Adelita's, where my expectations were much less but I was very pleasantly surprised.
