I visited the Hungry I for the first time last week, during a visit to San Francisco for a conference.

I'd signed up for a "free admission" text message (which most North Beach clubs offer), and that worked just fine.

My driver's license was scanned upon entry, which was a trifle unnerving, but I obliged and entered.
