Landed at PBI around noon Thursday, and decided to stop for lunch at the Rhino before my afternoon meetings. Overall, I had a good experience. The SR is easy to find; free parking during the day. The facility has the upscale, "corporate" look which I associate with the chain clubs like SR and Christie's Cabaret. Daytime cover was $1, and the girl at the front desk delivered the news that the kitchen was closed. Sigh. Anyway, I entered and took a seat at the bar with the 4-5 other hounds who were there early. The main stage is quite large, surrounded by table seating. Lighting was low, but the furniture and wall décor gave the place the feel of a private club. Bartender was attractive and polite; drink prices were in line with Monroe's and the Cheetah down the street.
The early afternoon dancer line-up was, meh. Maybe the 9s were still in the dressing room, but the first few girls to show up were just OK (as in, not as attractive as the waitresses). The upside, however, was that lap dances were $10/song, so it was hard to go wrong despite the talent level. The LD area was behind a partition along one side of the stage; not much privacy, and (despite being designed as a LD area) the benches were very shallow and not all that comfortable. Anyway, I had a few dances from a 40-something Venezuelan; OK mileage, nothing special. Later, a tall, slender young Italian girl provided a few very sensual dances, a superb value for the money.
Others have mentioned the odd stage lighting; I would add that my visit had a DJ who didn't get the memo about the kitchen being closed and repeatedly droned on about the food specials. Just STFU and pay attention, buddy. I liked the Rhino, and would have stayed longer if lunch were available. The discount dances and upscale environment made the visit worth a repeat next time I'm in the area.
