Back in D, was hoping to find breezy or hotstuff, but they were not where I thought they were. Tried the newly re-opened Chix, too early. Tried Criket at the advice of two other members, but chose to pass them and H8N due to lack of cars in lot, just assumed (did not verify) inside would be dead as well. Bogies appeared to have a fair numbers of cars at it and I had honestly never been other than a Tuesday $10 day that I could remember, and it had been almost a year I think since my last visit, way longer since my last review of this place, so what the heck. Outside well described, never had issue parking car. No valet. $5 cover, drink was $6.50. Way smokier inside than I remember from my last visit. Song sets were 3 or 4 full length songs (first group did 4, second group only did 3, then they had a revue). No hassle and for the first time ever, no shot girls hounding me at a Hamilton club. Waitress (brunette) was awesome and fairly hot herself I might say. For the first three songs, I spent more time staring at waitress than the others working. Saw only three girls when I arrived, two on two different stages and one at bar eating. Didn't recognize any of them but heard them referred Brooke, Bria/Maria (or something like that), and have no clue on the third. Was debating on downing my drink, then 5 more appeared. I recognized Tori, Kennedy (or at least that is her tat), but no one else. There was a very very big busted brunette, a couple mature blondes, another brunette (I think this was Bria/Maria), and only one AA thin girl. Approached by a few, but they moved on when I passed on the "Would you like to go for a dance?" question. Bria/Maria was the first to stop, she just got the bad timing of getting me right as I sat down and she had to go up anyway. Tori came by and offered up an official handshake and struck up a conversation. All visitors stopping by my table offered up just about anything and everything during their service sales job. Job offers ranged from $20 per song (standard fee for a non Tuesday) to $50-$100 depending on what you were looking for. Had a few more drinks, settled on a short session with the usual one time $10 wrist band fee upstairs in the plywood VIP shack complete with the ever popular old school chairs, and called it a night. So happy to have been back in Detroit with so many options after being exiled to Flint my previous couple of weeks. I have definitely seen much much better talent elsewhere and at Bogies as well, so I was disappointed in overall selection for a Saturday. However, I was thoroughly happy with my waitress and not being haggled by shot girls for the first time ever. Bogies is what it is, described many times over. Quite simply stated, your mileage will never vary, but other than the house regular ladies, your selection of available unfamiliar talent will.
