Rolled in solo a little after 10 PM. To me the place seemed packed, both with dancers and patrons. Cover was $20 at the door which included a "VIP card" which would reduce the cost of cover to $10 for future visits for the next year, and a voucher for two free non-alcoholic drinks. The music was loud, the lights were flashing, a tattooed naked woman was dancing to rock music on stage as I found myself a seat. I was immediately greeted by a super cute lingerie-clad waitress who asked what I wanted to drink.
I tend to stay away from the front seating simply because I'm not the biggest fan of the mandatory dollar tipping for every dancer. The downside of this was there were a few women who were awesome on the pole who I would have loved to tip, but didn't feel like throwing a dollar 10 feet to the stage. A few of the dancers did make their way to the second set of seats between the first row and the bar, but it was crowded enough that most dancers probably figured after they hit the front row they were better off hustling for private dances than one dollar tips.
Almost immediately one dancer after another approached me. The initial banter was pretty standard: Been here before, how do you like it, are you from San Diego? There definitely were more dancers than patrons when I first got there relative to when I left, and I noticed earlier in the night girls were more willing to have a conversation and soft sell rather than simply asking if I was in the mood for a dance. I always say no to the first four or five approaches, although I did stress to one cute brunette that she should definitely approach me later in the night, although sadly she was no where to be seen when I was ready to go private. I'm also a bit choosy, and I've noticed that the girls who I'm least interested in are usually the ones who approach first.
